Dmytro Alexandrov, Managing Partner at ALEXANDROV&PARTNERS, Vice-President for Investment at ICC Ukraine, took part in the roundtable discussion “Who is responsible for Attracting Investments in Ukraine?” held in Kyiv on 24 March 2016 under the aegis of Kyiv International Economic Forum (KIEF).
Experts, investors and government officials looked into the following issues: which instruments are required for Ukraine to attract investors, whether Ukraine needs a competent agency for attracting investments and which it should be.
“Our experience of working with foreign investors in Ukraine shows that the more they dealt with the state authorities in Ukraine, the more difficult it was for them to invest. Views of our officials prevent from attracting foreign investment. Ideally, both the state as a whole and the local officials must facilitate investments,” Dmytro Alexandrov said among other things.
The roundtable discussion became the continuation of the series of topical events being held within the framework of Kyiv International Economic Forum.
